A new generation of magnetic measurement apparatus was developed in 1986 by National Institute of Metrology P.R.China and Electric Research Institute of Loudi Region cooperatively. The first set of MATS-2000 Auto Test System of Magnetic Materials of China was developed in 1989 in Loudi Region, which passed certification of China Association for Science and Technology in 1990. The measurement precision of the product reaches or exceeds the regulations of international IEC standard and national standards and filled the blank of magnetic measurement field in our country. The product, leading an advanced level in the world, is recommended as national-level new product 90' of magnetic measurement apparatuses. The product was awarded the first class award of technology advancement by China State Bureau of Technical Supervision in 1990 and was awarded the second class award of national technology advancement. Through undertaking "7th National Magnetic Academy Meeting" in november 1991, it established the leading position for Loudi in the national science research and development and made MATSTM become a pronoun of magnetic material measurement apparatus and promote the domestic production of magnetic measurement apparatus.
